Think2Master Puzzle: Pandemic – Puzzling For Posterity.
This Think2Master puzzle was created in 2020. According to the box it was designed in the US and Made in China.
I’ve got very strong feelings about this puzzle, but I’m not here to be political. I’m just opening a window into our recent past. Think2Master states in the puzzle listing that this is a “fun memento” and a “Great way to learn and remember all the events surrounding the pandemic.”
I would not go so far as to say it’s a way to learn about it, but rather a way to remember how it was portrayed to the world.
I bought this puzzle used as I thought it was definitely something to save for posterity.

Think2Master Jigsaw Puzzle Materials and Cut Style
Cut Style
Think2Master puzzles are grid cut which means the pieces are cut in a more systematic grid pattern. The pieces typically have straight edges and pieces will meet at all four corners.
Materials
The 1000 piece puzzle, Pandemic, had pieces with white board backing and letters for reference.
There was very little, if any, dust. The pieces were sturdy and the surface had a glossy coating.
Benefits of Doing Jigsaw Puzzles
There are so many benefits to doing jigsaw puzzles. They’re great for keeping your brain sharp. I use them for concentration, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
In addition to those skills, they help teach pattern recognition, shape sorting, color recognition, problem solving, and even patience.
Does Jen Recommend Think2Master Jigsaw Puzzles?
Aside from the subject matter of the puzzle, I found it to have the typical ‘made in China’ feel about the pieces. They fit together snugly and were of average thickness.
I can’t say I loved the high gloss finish (I’m a matte finish girl) and I very much dislike the use of the alphabet grid on the back.
I do see a benefit to the alpha grid on the back in puzzles that are challenging and have repeating patterns. Otherwise, the grid is a distraction during sorting as no pieces have a blank side.
If you enjoy puzzles made in China you will probably enjoy the Think2Master puzzles. In all honesty I don’t think I’d recommend this puzzle for the emotional rollercoaster ride while completing it.
