What is My Puzzle Day?

Puzzle Day is the best day of the week! 

For the past fifteen years, Saturday has been my official Puzzle Day. My best friend Conni and I sit in my kitchen, drink coffee, natter on about life, and do jigsaw puzzles.

There are plenty of non-official Puzzle Days too!

How My Puzzle Day began

My story starts last century(!) in the early 90’s when Conni and I started out with crossword puzzles.

We pored over the Sunday crosswords from the Orange County Register, of course we had to have two subscriptions- the competition was fierce!

Since then we’ve completed dozens of puzzle books, played many a game of Scrabble, and finally moved on to serious jigsaw puzzling.

My Puzzle Addiction

My modest, but growing, puzzle collection crosses 55 brands and totals over 190 unique puzzles. (I’m a sucker for a good deal on a puzzle.)

You will definitely get the good, the bad, and ugly of it all!

The Mostly Chill Side of Puzzling

While jigsaw puzzling on a Saturday at my house is not officially competitive we each have our own way of working on the puzzle.

Conni wants all the pieces. I quite like having some of them too! We both like to dig through the box instead of laying all the pieces out.

Add family, two dogs and two cats, and you go from mostly chill to sheer chaos.
