Does Jen Recommend Piecework Jigsaw Puzzles?

My Piecework puzzle has fantastic texture. The pieces have a matte velvet-y finish with no reflection. The feel is similar to Art & Fable, but not quite as heavily velveted.

Piecework puzzles tend to be slightly more expensive than some mainstream brands and tend to be more of an experience. Each puzzle comes with a playlist on Spotify to listen to while you do your puzzle. Piecework also offers home goods and gifts as well as puzzle related items to round out your experience.

If you like doing puzzles in sections, I recommend having some flat trays or a spatula to move sections around. The interlock is ok but pieces don’t hold well when being moved. I was not able to get pick-up at all with this puzzle.

Overall I enjoyed the feel of the pieces. The matte velvet finish lends itself to luxury.

I tackled the words first as they were quite obvious in the box. After that I picked out all the textures; the straw hat and the towel especially. I longed for In N’ Out the entire time I was working on those burgers and saved the orange pool floaty for last.

This was such a fun puzzle.. so much nostalgia of my time living in Southern California. I miss living so close to the ocean and definitely do not miss the earthquakes.
