Crown Point Graphics Jigsaw Puzzle Materials and Cut Style
Cut Style
Crown Point Graphics employs a grid cut which means the pieces are cut in a more systematic grid pattern. The pieces typically have straight edges and pieces will meet at all four corners.
Materials
Crown Point Graphics puzzles use a soft touch material for their puzzles, which reduces glare and makes handling the pieces easier.
- Primary Material: Crown Point Graphics uses white-backed cardboard with a soft and smooth texture.
Benefits of Doing Jigsaw Puzzles
There are so many benefits to doing jigsaw puzzles. They’re great for keeping your brain sharp. I use them for concentration, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
In addition to those skills, they help teach pattern recognition, shape sorting, color recognition, problem solving, and even patience.
Does Jen Recommend Crown Point Graphics Jigsaw Puzzles?
Yes, I do.
The soft, nearly velvet texture of the pieces makes for a pleasant puzzling experience.
What I loved about this puzzle:
- The overall composition; I love botanical puzzles.
- The pops of bright magenta.
- The most challenging part was the lettering.
- The large reference poster, which measured 12″ x 18″.
- The finish with minimal glare.
What I didn’t love about this puzzle:
- A lack of information about the materials used; my curiosity knows no bounds.

If you noticed in the above photos, I use small sorting trays. I like to sort my pieces by color and then work in sections. If you are looking for trays, I can’t recommend them enough.
I use the small set, which measures 9.7″ x6.8″. There is also a medium set, and a large set, which measures 10.6″ x 15″ if you have the space and want all the pieces laid out at once. All sets come with 8 trays.
While Crown Point Graphics jigsaw puzzles are available at big name craft shops like Hobby Lobby and Jo-Anns, you can also find them online.
