Clementoni Jigsaw Puzzle Materials and Cut Style
Cut Style
Clementoni puzzles are grid cut which means the pieces are cut in a more systematic grid pattern. The pieces typically have straight edges and pieces will meet at all four corners.
Material
Clementoni puzzles are made with recycled materials as the company is dedicated to environmental awareness.
The high-quality blue chipboard is strong and resists bending or tearing, which is important for puzzles that will be handled many times during assembly and disassembly.
Benefits of Doing Jigsaw Puzzles
There are so many benefits to doing jigsaw puzzles. They’re great for keeping your brain sharp. I use them for concentration, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
In addition to those skills, they help teach pattern recognition, shape sorting, color recognition, problem solving, and even patience.
Does Jen Recommend Clementoni Jigsaw Puzzles?
Based on all my criteria Clementoni Puzzles are a solid choice for an afternoon of puzzling. The Mosaic puzzle was quite a challenge, especially in the orange/red area. If you’re a fan of color gradients, this is a great puzzle for you!
The linen finish does have a bit of shine to it compared to that of a Ravensburger, but was definitely not a deal breaker.
The lack of reference poster didn’t bother me as the image on the box was crisp, though not necessarily helpful in completing this challenge!
If you like doing puzzles in sub-sections (Like my BFF) I recommend having some flat trays to move sections around. The interlock is good and most pieces stay together when lifted, but it never hurts to have some trays handy!

I bought 2000 piece Ancient Map puzzles in Canada. I have a special room where I put together puzzles, because these are not the only ones I put together. In order to assemble the Ancient Map, one single piece was missing. It was probably lost in the factory during packaging. I sent them an email with a picture of the one piece I’m missing and the Cod from the box, hoping they’ll send me that one piece. The factory sent me several emails saying that they do NOT want to send me that piece because I don’t have a receipt from the store for the puzzles I bought last year. Do they think I will keep the account for a year? At the same time, there is a paper in the box where you can stick the Code and send it to the factory to send you the missing part, but it is only valid for Europe, and I live in Canada. For me, this company is below any rating and my rating for them is below ZERO.
I’m so sorry to hear about your missing piece! It’s so frustrating, especially when you want to preserve the puzzle to display. I’m finding that most companies will replace the whole puzzle instead of just a piece, but I do think they expect that you’ll do the puzzle as soon as you get it. When buying puzzles in bulk to save on shipping that isn’t always possible.
