Materials
Art and Fable puzzles, made with recycled board measure 1.9 mm in thickness. The pieces are sturdy and are backed in a medium grey board.

From the box to the included box lid holder to the art print, all of it feels incredibly luxurious and sumptuously soft to the touch. Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes!
I chose Mantis Mundi, though Aspic Hunt was a very close second. I loved the earthy greens and yellows and all the little bug faces.
I wish I was able to convey through the internet what the Velvet Touch surface feels like. I can only describe it as soft and suede-like and entirely dreamy. Every time you pick up a piece you get that same luxurious feeling all over again. I didn’t want it to end!
The box lid holder is thick cardboard and has a well-thought out design. The velvet surface provided much needed friction for a lid holder and it didn’t disappoint. It held out through the entire puzzle.
The included art print is spectacular and can either be saved as a reference for future puzzling sessions or framed. The reverse side has an artist bio and lists where donations from the purchase of the puzzle will be sent.
I also want to mention that Art and Fable has a piece replacement policy. A lot of companies will replace the entire puzzle, but Art and Fable will actually hunt down your missing piece. Read about that policy here.
