Their website is easy to navigate and making a puzzle from a photo is simple. I elected to upload a creation of my own, which I called Floribund.
The FAQ on the website includes all the information you need regarding file type and size. There’s also a section detailing puzzle dimensions along with image size in pixels if you want to create your own image or crop your photograph.

Image Quality and Resolution
The image quality of PuzzleYOU custom puzzles largely depends on the quality of the image you provide. The company does offer guidance on recommended image resolution to ensure optimal result.
I ordered a custom puzzle box with the image of my puzzle on it for reference. Both the image on the box and of the puzzle were clear. I used a 300 dpi image measuring 3409px x 2567px. DPI refers to ‘dots per inch’ and px refers to the number of pixels. In laymen’s terms, my image was about 8.5″ x 11″.

PuzzleYOU’s greatest strength in terms of theme variety is its customization option. You can essentially turn any image into a puzzle. This means the sky’s the limit when it comes to themes.
PuzzleYOU also offers puzzles by artists. They have a dedicated section on their website featuring artwork from various artists. You can find puzzles in different styles, from abstract to landscapes, and in various piece counts.

PuzzleYOU puzzles are grid cut which means the pieces are cut in a more systematic grid pattern. The pieces typically have straight edges and pieces will meet at all four corners.

The 500 piece puzzle had thick, sturdy pieces akin to a Ravensburger puzzle, though with far less dust.

PuzzleYOU makes a quality puzzle with sturdy feeling pieces, low dust, and unique artwork.
Their shipping box is kind of neat, and the fact that you can customize your own box (to some degree) is a nice touch. The box itself is just as sturdy as a Ravensburger box, with less wasted space. (Which I love!)
I absolutely recommend their custom puzzle feature. My 500 piece puzzle was $25 to create before shipping.
While their prices are a bit on the high side, they are no higher than any of the other custom puzzle services out there and I can say with confidence you are getting a quality product.
